EDUCATION
Bachelor’s Degree in science or a related discipline is preferred. Candidates with a BS in Engineering may be overqualified, as this role is primarily focused on testing rather than design work.

Responsibilities
- Conduct mechanical, electrical, and visual tests on medical devices, including heart catheters.
- Utilize various testing equipment and tools such as calipers, MTS, multimeters, digital thermometers, Force Gage, Cognex, and LabView.
- Follow established test methods, safety guidelines, and good documentation practices (GDP).
- Accurately record data and ensure thorough documentation of test results.
- Clearly communicate observations, issues, and test outcomes to engineers and the team.
- Collaborate effectively within a team to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.
- Draft documentation related to testing as needed.
- Maintain lab equipment and ensure proper use of safety devices during all tasks.
