**Job Overview** We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Fire Sprinkler Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of fire sprinkler systems in accordance with local codes and industry standards. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of fire sprinkler technology and have a proven track record of delivering high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.
**Responsibilities** - Install and test fire sprinkler systems in commercial, industrial, and residential settings. - Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on existing fire sprinkler systems to ensure they are functioning correctly and meet current codes and standards. - Repair and replace fire sprinkler components, including pipes, fittings, and valves. - Use a variety of hand and power tools to complete tasks, including calipers and tube bending equipment. - Perform welding and soldering tasks using stick welding. - Troubleshoot and resolve issues with fire sprinkler systems, including identifying and correcting leaks and other malfunctions. - Work at heights and in confined spaces as necessary. - Collaborate with other tradespeople and construction professionals to ensure the safe and efficient installation of fire sprinkler systems.
**Experience** - Proven experience as a Fire Sprinkler Technician or in a related field. - Knowledge of local building codes and fire sprinkler standards. - Strong understanding of fire sprinkler technology and system components. - Familiarity with welding and soldering techniques, including stick welding. - Experience working with hand and power tools, including calipers and tube bending equipment. - Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces. - Physical stamina to perform tasks that may require bending, lifting, or crawling. - Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $60.00 per hour
