Position Summary:
The Blend Technician is responsible for the preparation/inspection of all intermediate and finished product blends required for processing; this includes, but is not limited to additives, resin, rubber, and finished products. The Blend Technician is accountable for the accuracy of all measurements performed and raw material (finished goods) lot numbers used. Duties also include pre- and post-blending, drying and staging OSM material for movements between locations. May also be required to perform other duties as assigned by Management.
Position Responsibilities:
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position safely while meeting productivity standards.
- Must be team oriented as well as selfmotivated and selfsufficient. Bring a positive attitude into work each day.
- Ensure all materials to be used for blending are correct according to recipe, and that they are free of any contaminants.
- Properly stage material for intermediate blending, pre and post blends, and drying.
- Prepare blends based on priority, following the schedule prepared by supervision.
- Track inventory movements, via scanning system, and fill out all control forms to ensure traceability is maintained. Issue materials to jobs as necessary to complete inventory transactions. Follow all JWI’s to ensure proper scanning and inventory control.

Schedule:
- 12 hour rotating schedule
- Ability to work overtime as needed.
