Position Summary:
At our family-oriented company, we are seeking a Material Handler I to help with receiving, shipping, and storing finished goods and raw materials. This role includes labeling, inventory control, and completing necessary documentation, ensuring smooth operations in a collaborative team environment.
Essential Duties:
Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment
Maintain accurate records of material locations and inventory
Stage, load, unload, and label shipments
Perform physical inventory counts as needed
Adhere to safety and quality standards, following FIFO procedures
Assist with LTL & FTL shipments, and report discrepancies
Requirements:
Forklift certification (can be earned on the job)
Basic computer skills for inventory control and data entry
Prior warehouse or forklift experience preferred
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
