Sales Engineer
Advanced Composites, Inc., an ISO9001:2015 and AS9100D company for the design and manufacturing of composite structures is looking for a full-time Sales Engineer. As a Sales Engineer, you will be essential in connecting our ACI manufacturing expertise with the unique needs of our clients. Your focus will be to build and sustain strong client relationships, while understanding their technical needs and converting them into customized solutions. The position is a full-time, in-person, salaried position working M-F 8:00-5:00 pm.
Responsibilities
· Customer Engagement: Establish and nurture relationships with existing and potential clients, understanding their needs and providing technical expertise on ACI’s manufacturing capabilities
· Technical Expertise: Possess a deep understanding of ACI’s manufacturing processes, materials, and design principles to effectively communicate how ACI's products align with client requirements
· Solution Customization: Collaborate with customers to develop customized ACI solutions, ensuring they meet technical specifications, performance expectations, and budget constraints
· Quote and Proposal Development: Prepare accurate and detailed proposals based on customer specifications, providing clear explanations of the technical aspects involved. Meet KPI’s related to quoting.
· Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, production, and customer support to ensure seamless communication and execution of projects
· Sales Targets: Contribute to the achievement of sales targets by actively seeking out new business opportunities and expanding the customer base
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field (Mechanical Engineering)
· 5 Years Sales/Engineering Experience
· Proven experience in technical sales, preferably within the composites manufacturing industry
· Strong understanding of composite design, manufacturing processes, and industry standards
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Ability to comprehend complex technical information and present it in a clear and understandable manner
· Results-oriented mindset with the ability to meet and exceed sales targets
