This position is Hybrid/Remote from either Nashville, TN or Sidney, OH with on-site meetings on Wednesdays and remote work on every other day of the week.
Job Summary
The Reporting Specialist is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining reports and dashboards using SAP and Power BI. This role requires expertise in both platforms and the ability to guide business users to find and use their information efficiently. The specialist will work closely with business stakeholders to understand their information and reporting needs and translate them into effective data visualizations and reports.
As we grow into our data & analytics practice, this person will be working more with converged data sets, big data, ML, and AI platforms. The right individual for this role will have a good background in SAP, PowerBI, and SQL, but also have a desire to learn newer platforms and methods.
Duties
- Work with all areas of the ACP business to understand information needs and identify the best delivery method for each need using in-house systems.
- Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Provide expertise as to the contents of SAP built-in reports which would be best for various situations, and where data resides in the various ACP systems.
- Design, develop, test and maintain reports using SAP native tools and Power BI.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all SAP reports.
- Optimize report performance for efficient data retrieval and display.
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI.
- Connect Power BI to various data sources and ensure seamless data integration.
- Utilize data visualization techniques to present data in a clear and actionable manner.
- Optimize Power BI performance by managing datasets, data models, and report rendering.
- Develop and execute complex SQL queries using best practices.
- Provide training and support to end-users on SAP and Power BI tools and techniques.
- Develop user guides and documentation for SAP and Power BI reports.
- Continuously improve reporting processes and methodologies.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in SAP, Power BI, and SQL reporting.
- Implement best practices for report design and development.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Comply with, work to, and provide support for all Safety, Environmental, Quality, and Laboratory management systems, policies, procedures, work instructions for ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, ISO 9001, ISO/IATF 16949, and ISO17025.
- Support compliance with all other applicable regulatory (such as OSHA) and company OH&S and EMS requirements.
- Comply with all ACP Company rules, policies, procedures and report any/ all hazards, incidences and accidents identified and/ or witnessed directly to the supervisor/manager, and Plant Safety department.
- Is aware of the significant impacts, associated aspects, and the legal requirements that are inherent with acquired duties, identified hazards, assessed risks, and implemented controls within his/her dept.
License, Skills and Certifications
- Excellent data visualization and analytical skills.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Ability to execute these duties with minimal oversight in daily activity.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interaction within IT and other business teams.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
- Relevant certifications in SAP, Power BI, and SQL are a plus.
- Driver’s License for occasional travel to our Ohio facility.
- Strong technical skills in SAP and Power BI.
- Proficiency in SQL querying and database management.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5 years of professional experience with data analytics, presentation, and report development in an SAP environment.
- Proven experience in a corporate environment working with various levels of business leaders.
- 2 years of experience working with big data, ML, and AI
- Experience with database administration is a plus.
- Experience in automotive manufacturing is a plus
- Other experience and education may be considered.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
