Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide organizational improvement facilitation services to the National Guard Leadership and the Director of Performance Improvement and Enterprise Performance Improvement through technical facilitation and consultation.
- Advise Senior Leaders in the application of the Integrated Management System and the Baldrige Excellence Framework.
- Draft Information Papers and Process Maps for key activities of the NGB-PI.
- Work with States and Territories that do not participate in IMS, explain the benefits of the program, and encourage them to participate.
- Advise, coordinate, and deliver instruction pertaining to the NGB Integrated Management System using DOD approved performance management software, and Performance Improvement Office (NGB-PI) Initiatives.
- Interact with senior staff to align NGB with DOD guidance, performance improvement management initiatives and Performance Management System.
- Conduct assistance visits to address organizational performance based on approved performance metrics and develop a prioritized list of performance improvement initiatives. Translate findings into recommended corrective actions.
- Evaluate and make recommendations regarding the five (5) pillars of the Integrated Management System.
- Provide written and oral recommendations to senior officials.
- Provide planning recommendations in oral or written form to the Adjutant Generals, Chiefs of Staff and to senior strategic planning and quality officials.
- Required Qualifications
o 10 Years professional experience as a business analyst in support of DoD operations
o Deep experience, familiarity, and knowledge of the Baldridge Performance Excellence Framework.
o Strong organizational skills.
o Excellent verbal and written communication with a variety of audiences at all levels of the organization.
o Comprehensive knowledge of laws / regulations / policies / practices promulgated by Office of Management and Budget / HQDA / CNGB / ARNG and private industry for assessment of organizational efficiency and effectiveness
o Computer skills to include Microsoft Office
o Pass a favorable National Agency Check (NAC) with inquiry. Possess and maintain a SECRET security clearance.
o Shall be a U.S. citizen
o Possess appropriate training and experience to perform all required functions
