Description : General Purpose
Individuals in this position are responsible for reading prints and constructing all necessary openings and other specialty items requested by customer for their foundation.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
Read production prints to determine items to be built.
Construct all window and door openings and specialties.
Transport and install constructed rough openings into production forms.
Manufacture and install brick ledge.
Requirements : Working Conditions
Duties are performed in the plant.
Individuals are exposed to noise, moving machinery, and dust.
Machinery operation requires the use of safety equipment to include, but not limited to, safety glasses, hearing protection, work boots, hard hats, and gloves.
Physical Requirements
Requires occasional lifting and transportation of objects up to 45 lbs.
Requires repetitive use of feet when driving forklift.
Requires the ability to stand, and walk for an 8-hour shift, longer during periods of overtime.
Requires the ability to perform simple & firm grasping and fine manipulating with both hands.
Requires being around moving machinery.
Must have manual dexterity; able to quickly move your hand, your hand together with your arm, or your two hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble objects.
Must have multi limb coordination; able to coordinate two or more limbs (for example, two arms, two legs, or one leg and one arm) while sitting, standing, or lying down.
Job requires the ability to see and communicate effectively.
Job requires frequent twisting, and / or rotating of the waist, neck, and wrists.
Job requires bending the waist, head, neck, and wrists.
Requires the ability to climb to heights of 3 – 4 feet.

Must be able to read a tape measure.
Prior knowledge of the carpentry trade preferred, not required.
