Job Title: Quality Administrator II
Purpose of the Position:
The Quality Administrator is responsible for working alongside the Quality Manager in developing and facilitating activities to improve product quality, develop quality systems, participate in external and internal audits and assessments, reduce scrap and rework, and improve external and internal customer satisfaction.
This position will report directly to the Quality Manager.
Essential job functions:
- Provide administrative support for the Quality Department and provide synergistic assistance to the Quality Manager and other Quality Department personnel to oversee the ISO quality management system. Also, provide optimal support and help the above personnel guide the Quality organization through ISO Certification.
- Be part of the critical Quality Assurance team, and participate in audits, including closing out audit findings, creating audit finding reports, and determining proper corrective and preventive actions.
- Maintain procedures, work instructions, forms, and other forms of documentation and records in the official documentation system and coordinate all activities related to them for optimal process output.
- Good organization/ planning/ recordkeeping skills and is a team player who can coordinate activities between departments and/or outside parties.
- Assists in the development of root-cause analysis and corrective/ preventive actions to address non-conformances
- Miscellaneous projects and assignments as directed by Quality Manager.
- Conduct quality tests and inspections on raw materials and finished products.
- Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Knowledge, skills, and abilities:
- Knowledge and experience of working to ISO: 9001 including necessary assistance in writing policies, procedures, and work instructions.
- Strong knowledge of quality control methodologies and tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Proficiency in data analysis software and tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in a manufacturing or production environment is a plus.
- Quality Admin or likewise job description and background in the manufacturing sector
- External certification for certified internal auditor /lead auditor /technical assessor from a recognized quality management organization e.g. ABS, BV, Lloyds Register, DNV GL, Bureau Veritas, etc.
- Must be proficient with MS Office suite of tools
