What are the responsibilities and job description for the Commercial Construction Project Manager position at Advanced Contracting, LLC?
We are looking for a Project Manager to join our growing Specialty Commercial Construction Company located in Colorado Springs. As a Project Manager you will be responsible for managing 30 projects that are all in various stages and will need to ensure each project is completed within the agreed-upon timeline, budget, and quality standards.
While the ideal candidate is someone with commercial construction experience, we will prioritize a candidate with project management experience who is detail orientated with the ability to multitask and possesses strong organization and communication skills. This candidate will need to be able to problem solve and adjust priorities as needs arise with projects due to shifting timelines, problems in the field, etc.

The successful candidate will undertake the following duties and more:
- Understand project plans and specifications
- Review and interpret contract documents
- Develop and implement project budgets
- Prepare and monitor project submittals and RFIs
- Procure material to meet construction schedule
- Attend meetings online and at jobsites as required
- Negotiate and prepare purchase orders
- Communicate with customers, clients, GCs, and vendors as necessary
- Communicate and coordinate with the field manager and installation team to assist with onsite issues and timeline
- Track, price and negotiate project change orders
- Assist in the preparation of monthly pay requests to General Contractors
- Manage closeout documentation to fulfill contract requirements
- Problem solve issues that arise relating to budget, schedule and other issues relating to the project
Qualifications:
- Minimum high school diploma, preferred bachelor’s degree
- Ideally at least two years of commercial building construction experience
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- Proficient in or willingness to learn Procore and Blue Beam Revu
- Ability to read blueprints
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organization skills and attention to detail are essential
- Exercise high degree of initiative, judgment, discretion, problem-solving, and decision-making
- Ability to travel within Colorado on rare occasion
- Valid driver license and reliable transportation
