Assess, plan, and deliver nursing care to detained and committed

Supervise other nursing and nursing paraprofessional personnel in patient care

Supervise Regional Nurse Managers, Assistant Regional Nurse Managers, Nurse Trainers, Site Managers, Health Services Administrators (HSAs), and Site Nurses

Supervises and participates in the provision of general nursing care services

Interviews and hires staff, ensuring equal employment opportunity in hiring and promotion

Communicate appropriate applicant and associate information to ACH’s clients, as requested by the client
-
Conducts site visits, as needed
-
Coordinates activities by scheduling work assignments, setting priorities, and directing the work of subordinate associates
-
Develop and communicate staffing schedules, as necessary
-
Evaluates and verifies associate performance through the review of completed work assignments, work techniques and peer reviews
-
Identifies staff development and training needs and ensures that training is obtained. May be asked to train new hires and coworkers.

Maintains records, prepares reports, and composes correspondence relative to the work

Serves as liaison between staff, corporate office, and other areas within the facility

Always maintain professional attitude

Work collaboratively and courteously with ACH’s clients
-
Assist the facility staff in covering staffing shortages, as needed
-
Fill in as a site manager in a facility, as needed
-
Maintain an accurate and up-to-date position BUS plan and goals.

Acquire professional licensure as needed
-
24/7 call including nights, weekends, and holidays
-
Any and all other duties as assigned
Qualifications

Active nursing license in the state(s) in which services are to be provided, in good standing
-
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; hands-on training
-
Basic Life Support (BLS) instructor certification; hands-on training
-
Supervisory experience
-
Strong Microsoft Office, Internet, and email skills
-
Must be able to drive a motor vehicle
-
CCHP Certification (Essential after two years of service)
