Dental Assistant at Advanced Dental Care

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our one doctor, privately owned dental practice with at least one year of experience. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic while providing exceptional patient care. As a Dental Assistant, you will work closely with dentists and other healthcare professionals to assist in various dental procedures, maintain patient records, and ensure compliance with safety protocols. We are a busy yet relaxed office looking to add to our dental family!

Duties

• Prepare patients for dental procedures by providing instructions and ensuring comfort.
• Assist dentists during examinations and treatments, including endodontic procedures.
• Take and develop X-rays while adhering to safety standards and HIPAA regulations.
• Maintain an aseptic environment by following infection control protocols.
• Manage dental records using Open Dental software, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.

Skills

• must have at least one year of dental assistant experience and be comfortable assisting a wide variety of dental restoration procedures.
• Experience with medical imaging, including X-Ray procedures.
• Familiarity with endodontics and other dental specialties is a plus.
• Ability to work effectively in a dental clinic setting, demonstrating excellent interpersonal skills.

Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
