We’re looking for a motivated and dynamic Front Desk Assistant to join our team and help provide an exceptional patient experience.
As a key member of the administrative team, you’ll work closely with the clinical team and office manager to ensure smooth operations and a premium patient experience. The ideal candidate will be personable, organized, and have a friendly, outgoing demeanor.

- Position is full-time: Monday-Friday during 60-day training period, then down to a 4-day work week
Salary: Starting at $23 DOE
Responsibilities
- Phone Management: Answer incoming calls, provide information, and direct calls to appropriate team members.
- Patient Check-in & Check-out: Greet patients, verify personal and insurance information, check patients in and out, and ensure all necessary paperwork is completed.
- Payment Collection: Collect payments for services rendered, manage billing inquiries, and process insurance claims.
- Appointment Scheduling: Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments to maintain an efficient calendar.
- Insurance Verification: Update and verify patient insurance information to ensure accurate billing and treatment authorization.
- Treatment Plans & Financial Arrangements: Discuss treatment plans and financial arrangements with patients, ensuring clarity and understanding of costs and payment options.
- Team Collaboration: Work alongside dental professionals to ensure the highest level of patient care and satisfaction.
- General Front Desk Support: Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk area. Ensure the smooth flow of patients and tasks throughout the day.
Qualifications
- Ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive and friendly attitude
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with patients of all ages and backgrounds
- Experience with Dentrix, managing dental office finances, and multitasking effectively
