What are the responsibilities and job description for the Patient Coordinator position at Advanced Dental of Wentzville?
Responsibilities
- Check insurance benefits prior to patient visit for current eligibility information.
- Greet and welcome patients. Our customer service experience is top priority. We go above and beyond to make every patient experience exceptional.
- Day to day front office duties, including answering phones, checking office mail and email, communicating with patients and insurance companies
- Utilize Dentrix Ascend for patient scheduling and records.
- Schedule and confirm appointments.
- File patient insurance claims and follow up on outstanding claims, verification of benefits and explanation of coverage
- Review treatment plan fees with patients.
Qualifications
- Customer service driven mindset.
- Great attention to detail
- Ability to work well with others.
- Well organized and a self starter.
- knowledge of dental terminology and procedures.
- Minimum of 3 years dental insurance / billing experience.
Requirements:

- Hours: Mon, Tue, Wed 10-5pm / Thur 9-4 / Fri 9-3.
