Job Summary
We're seeking a highly skilled Extrusion Line Technician to join our team at Advanced Drainage Systems. In this role, you'll be responsible for managing a plastic extrusion line to ensure finished goods meet quality specifications. The ideal candidate will have previous manufacturing experience and be able to work varying shifts. The role requires flexibility to work 40 hours per week, including weekends as required.
Main Responsibilities
- Manage a plastic extrusion line to ensure finished goods meet quality specifications
- Maintain a safe work environment through proper PPE and housekeeping compliance
- Accurately complete shift production and reporting paperwork
- Conduct regular product sampling to ensure consistent quality
- Troubleshoot process and mechanical problems and perform repairs and adjustments as required
Requirements
- Mechanical troubleshooting and repair abilities
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to operate heavy machinery, such as forklifts, in a safe manner
- Reading and writing skills
- Previous manufacturing machine operation or extrusion experience
