Job Overview
We are seeking a creative and driven Social Media Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing our social media presence, creating engaging content (photo/video), social media planning, video editing, and SEO research, and driving brand awareness through various platforms. This role requires a blend of creativity, analytical skills, and a passion for social media trends. If you have a knack for storytelling and a keen eye for design, we want to hear from you !
Responsibilities
- Come to our Midtown office weekly to shoot photos and short videos of the doctor and staff
- Develop and implement social media strategies with dental specific themes to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
- Conduct SEO research to identify the most searched keywords and questions related to endodontic care.
- Create compelling content across multiple platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok, Twitter, Youtube and LinkedIn.
- Conduct research to stay updated on industry trends and audience preferences.
- Develop questions or talking points for short educational videos that the doctors can film on-site.
- Edit short-form videos for social media using tools like CapCut, Canva, Adobe Premiere, or similar.
- Manage social media accounts by scheduling posts, responding to comments, and engaging with followers.
- Monitor analytics to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Proofread all content to ensure accuracy and adherence to brand guidelines.
- Assist in public relations efforts by promoting company news and events through social channels.
- Support e-commerce initiatives by creating promotional content that drives traffic and sales.
- Stay updated on dental marketing trends and platform best practices.
Requirements
- 2 years of experience in social media marketing, content creation, or SEO (dental or healthcare industry a plus)
- Skilled in photography, video production, and editing for social media
- Proficiency in using social media tools and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics).
- Comfortable doing SEO keyword research using tools like Google Keyword Planner, SEMrush, or Ubersuggest
- Excellent research skills to identify trends and insights relevant to our audience.
- Ability to proofread content for clarity, grammar, and style consistency.
- Strong written communication skills with an eye for branding and visual storytelling
- Must be able to work independently and come on-site at least once per week
