Shipping/Receiving Supervisor

Shipping/Receiving supervisor will be responsible for all shipping/receiving activities. This includes packaging product to prevent damage during shipment and ensuring jobs on shipment dispatch list are in the shipping area to meet delivery date. Also, responsible for receiving products and supplies.

Reports to: Production Manager

Responsibilities:

· Coaches, counsels, and disciplines employees

· Accomplishes staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results

· Accomplishes financial objectives by forecast requirements

· Manages the shipment and receipt of all products, materials, and supplies.

· Collaborates and communicates with logistics technicians, customer service reps, service providers, and others involved in the shipment and receipt of products.

· Tracks, traces, and updates the status of incoming and outgoing shipments.

· Engages with all vendors and drivers with a positive attitude.

· Promptly unloads trucks and deliveries and sorts and stocks receivables.

· Will perform a visual inspection on product prior to shipping for damage.

· Will perform a visual inspection on all incoming material for damage prior to release to shop.

Minimum Educational Qualifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent.

· Ability to read and understand customer drawings and specifications.

· Strong attention to detail is required.

Minimum Previous Experience:

· Ability to work efficiently, while maintaining strong quality standards.

· Ability to lift up to 50lbs.

· Forklift Certified.

· 2-year previous experience in a shipping/receiving role.

· Working in an ISO 9001;2015 certified environment a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
