We are seeking a Water/Wastewater Design Manager looking to lead ongoing and future public utility projects. To succeed in this position, a strong design background and passion to support individual and company growth will be needed.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development of construction plans for potable water, reclaimed water and wastewater projects
- Prepare technical documents including reports, manuals, technical papers, and other technical content
- Support existing business development initiatives and lead efforts to expand upon current product line offerings
- Collaborate with public sector clients and other stakeholders throughout a project’s life cycle
- Represent the firm in a variety of settings including, but not limited to, public meetings, industry conferences and professional associations
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Florida Professional Engineering license required (or ability to obtain licensure within six-months)
- Minimum of seven (7) years’ experience in a design and/or project management role
- Established track record of designing water/wastewater facilities including but not limited to collection systems, pump stations, force mains and transmission / distribution systems
- Proficient in system-wide and facility-specific analysis using modeling software.
- Experience in alternative forms of project delivery
- Effective verbal and written communicator in both formal and informal situations
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
