An Asset Repair Technician assigned by the Warehouse Manager, is responsible for maintaining special effects equipment, supporting specific projects, and adhering to standard operating procedures for project planning and deployment from the Baltimore facility. They also assist in managing company assets to ensure efficient show deployment.
Primary Responsibilities
Assist Warehouse Manager in all administrative and pre-production tasks including but not limited to:
EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE AND RECORD KEEPING
- Maintain Image Engineering assets in show-ready condition
- Troubleshoot, identify, and prioritize equipment repairs and manage repair completion by specific deadlines
- Work with Image Engineering Warehouse Operations to keep a record of resolution for all documented equipment repairs and required inspections
- Assist Image Engineering warehouse technicians during inventory return post-project and identifying equipment for maintenance review
- Work with Production Partners and Vendors to obtain repair authorization for items deemed not repairable in-house by Image Engineering repair technicians and/or Image Engineering engineers
- Order parts required to complete repairs
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with tour equipment pull and prep as needed
- Complete local equipment pickups and drop-offs as needed
- Assist with inventory of new items
Secondary Responsibilities
- Assist team in developing company resources, policies, procedures, and standardized paperwork
- Follow company procedures and directives
- Maintain a clean work area
- Perform other job-related duties as required and assigned
- Ability to read and interpret electrical/mechanical/plumbing diagrams
- Ability to lift at least 50lbs and stand for extended periods of time
- Skilled with hands as well as hand tools
- Able to pass background check
- Ability to terminate and repair various types of cables
- Organized and methodical with attention to detail
