Integration and Installation Specialist

We have worked all over the United States completing thousands of projects in the field of creative multimedia shows for clients such as Rihanna, Jay Z, Tiesto, Lady Gaga, American Idol, America’s Got Talent and multiple professional sports franchises in the NFL, NBA and NHL. We have also created permanent and temporary interactive installations for world class venues including the Staples Center, The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, The Smithsonian Institutions and Walt Disney World. 

The integration specialist works with the engineering team to analyze new and existing systems and identify integration needs and processes to deliver projects for our clients. This person will be expected to work on projects that will range from special effect entertainment installations to integration of audio-visual equipment and may even include work with major sporting events or large one-off spectaculars, Creative problem-solving is a necessity drawing on experience, knowledge and a desire to learn about emerging technologies. 
 

This team member will be expected to have experience in managing project installation from pre-planning design through onsite delivery using industry best practices.  Experience in delivering projects with budgets ranging from $5,000 upwards of $1million is a must. The Specialist, Integration & Installation takes the lead on delivery of Image Engineering’s most complex and high-profile projects so strong organizations skills, detail orientation, excellent communication skills with internal teams and external partners and clients plus the ability to strive in a fast-pace /time and quality driven environment are required. 

Responsibilities

• Work directly with Engineering teams to identify integration needs and process for delivery
• Partner with Engineering leadership to manage overall budget ensuring customer requirements are accounted for
• Oversee the creation and maintenance of comprehensive project documentation to include installation / line diagrams, equipment manuals, riser diagrams and other documents as necessary
• Partner with cross-functional teams for the seamless integration of all applications and systems to ensure they will work together and function as designed when installed
• Participate in the design, development and testing of systems and advise on procedures to improve integration in the engineering space
• Advise on various system operations and provide feedback on efficiencies that improve functional application and resource allocation to delivery of projects.
• Advise on needs for installation resources for every project
• Maintain a clear line of communication with clients and internal teams on project status, progression, changes, etc. 
• Oversee work of on-site vendors and installation team and give feedback on resources
• Responsible for onsite execution and timely delivery of systems
• Post execution follow up including client debrief, internal debrief, documentation filing and collaboration on billing close-out.
• Responsible for the delivery of high-quality and impact service delivery to Image clients
• Research new technology and share learnings with internal teams for future application
• Keeps Engineering leadership informed on the status of project integration and installations and serves as liaison between vendors and clients.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field or Work Equivalent
• 5 Years of production or systems project management in the entertainment industry 
• Ability to lead teams and collaborate with third party vendors
• Working knowledge or ability to learn entertainment industry technologies including but not limited to DMX protocol, audio and video signal protocols both analog and digital and networking
• Comprehensive and deep understanding of lighting and video design principles, system functions
• Working knowledge or ability to learn Vectorworks, Adobe Construction Cloud and Revit/ BIM viewer programs
• Ability to grow, adapt and reprioritize tasks in a fast-paced deadline critical environment 
• Desire to attend manufacturer/ equipment training sessions 
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and the Office Suite 
• Ability to travel 30% of the time and work independently 

Salary : $83,000 - $87,000
