What are the responsibilities and job description for the Optometric Assistant position at Advanced Eyecare Optometry?
Busy optometric office is looking for a self-motivated, people-oriented person who can multi-task, for front desk position. Must have good phone skills, organizational skills, and upbeat disposition. Previous health care office experience (preferably eye care) required. Duties include, but are not limited to greeting patients, answering phones, scheduling appointments, obtaining insurance authorizations, purchasing supplies, and assisting other staff members with frame selection, dispensing, repairs and adjustments. Candidate must have an outgoing, friendly personality, and be a team-player. Experience with EHR is preferred. Fluency in Spanish is helpful, but not required. Will train the right person, with opportunity for advancement. Must be available to work on Saturdays. Salary DOE.
