As our Treatment Coordinator you will work hard to meet our performance standards:
- Develop productive schedules.
- Demonstrate understanding of insurance benefits.
- Manage patient documents and records.
- Process and complete claim forms.
- Engage and foster patients through a positive experience.
How will your day look like?
As part of our team, you will invest your time:
· Greet and check in patients. Obtain necessary paperwork and information updates from the patients entered and scanned into the computer.
· Review the schedule for any special needs or areas of concern that need to be shared with the staff.
· Schedule and confirm appointments.
· Understanding of scheduling, treatment presentation, and financial systems in order to participate in, and support the processes.
· Verify insurance information is correct and verified before the patient’s appointment.
· Create financial treatment plan.
· Obtain a financial commitment from the patient.
· Maintain delayed treatment pipeline with patients who initially “delayed or rejected” treatment until it becomes “accepted & scheduled” treatment.
· Collect copays during the patient appointment.
· Focus on Patient retention, focused on optimal treatment while attending to their individual needs and concerns.
Requirements
We are looking for a patient-oriented person with:
- 3 years of experience in Dental Front Office type of roles.
- 3 years of technical expertise in dental insurance benefits.
- Experience with Open Dental is preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
