$16.50 to $22.00 hourly DOE
The function of the Sprinkler/Fire Alarm System Inspector Level 1 is to aid in the inspection, testing, and maintenance of all water-based fire protection system types.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Timely and efficient performance of inspection, testing, and maintenance of water-based systems with direct supervision,
- Load and handle materials and equipment
- Wash and maintain vehicles
- Assist with coordinating monitoring companies, fire department, and other authorities to avoid false alarms and unreported true alarms
- Assist with requisitioning materials and equipment
- Assist with servicing systems per manufacture’s maintenance manuals, the law, and the adopted Standards of the National Fire Protection Association
- Assist with completing paperwork as directed
- Assist with the preparation of proposals
- All other duties as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, LICENSES, ETC:
- HS Diploma or equivalent
- Valid Driver’s License
- Ability to be insured on company automobile insurance
- Acceptable background check and drug screen
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Basic arithmetic
- Ability to interact with customers in a professional manner
- Basic computer and software skills
- The ability to communicate in English
