We are seeking a skilled Fire Sprinkler Inspector to install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and perform routine maintenance on commercial and residential water-based fire sprinkler systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of local, state, and federal fire and electrical building codes.Key Responsibilities:
- Install, inspect, and maintain water-based fire sprinkler systems in compliance with NFPA 25 and other relevant standards.
- Troubleshoot and repair fire sprinkler systems.
- Maintain knowledge of pertinent fire and electrical building codes.
- Manage inventory of parts, supplies, and materials, and requisition replacements as needed.
- Record and document all inspections, tests, and work performed.
- Use company software to complete work orders, daily time sheets, and scheduled work orders.
- Participate in on-call rotations for after-hours and weekend emergency calls.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in installing and/or inspecting fire protection systems.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- NICET II certification in Inspections and Testing of Water-Based Systems Layout is preferred.
- Valid state driver’s license with no restrictions or recent speeding tickets.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for water-based fire protection systems.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with peers and customers.
