Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and patient-focused Non-Interventional Cardiologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in diagnosing and managing a wide range of cardiovascular conditions, performing non-invasive diagnostic procedures, and developing individualized treatment plans. This role emphasizes patient care, education, and preventative strategies.
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough evaluations of patients with cardiovascular symptoms or risk factors.
Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans for managing chronic and acute cardiac conditions.
Perform and interpret non-invasive diagnostic tests, including :
Echocardiography
Stress testing (exercise and pharmacological)
Electrocardiography (ECG / EKG)
Holter monitoring and event monitoring
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including interventional cardiologists, primary care providers, and other specialists, to ensure seamless patient care.
Educate patients and families about cardiovascular health, disease prevention, and treatment options.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with clinic and regulatory standards.
Stay current with advancements in cardiology to incorporate evidence-based practices into patient care.
Participate in clinic meetings, case discussions, and quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
MD or DO degree with board certification in Cardiovascular Disease.
Valid state medical license and DEA certification.
Proven expertise in non-invasive cardiology with a focus on diagnostic and preventive care.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with patients.
Commitment to patient-centered care and a collaborative team approach.
Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
Preferred Qualifications
Subspecialty certification in echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, or advanced imaging techniques.
