Requirements:Laundry Attendant Duties:
- Washing, drying, folding, and stocking of clean linens such as towels, washcloths, blankets, sheets, and other bedding
- Washing, drying, and folding of patient's personal clothing
- Operation of laundry room equipment such as washers, dryers, and sinks
- Manages and handles laundry supplies
- Following proper infection control practices to ensure sanitary management and use of linens
Housekeeping Duties:
- Cleans patient rooms following housekeeping policies and procedures
- Maintains cleanliness of offices and communal areas
- Operates housekeeping equipment such as vacuum cleaners, brooms, mops, carpet cleaners, and other equipment
- Manages and handles housekeeping supplies
- Follows proper infection control practices and procedures to ensure clean, homelike environment
- Follows Housekeeping and Laundry policies and procedures
