We invite you to join our team as a Patient Care Coordinator. This full time medical front office career opportunity has a Monday – Thursday dayshift schedule, and is located at our high volume practice in Jesup, GA.
In this medical receptionist position you will have the opportunity to:
- Answer phones, schedule appointments and greet incoming patients and visitors.
- Perform patient registration and insurance verification, and collect co-pays.
- Guide patients through this sometimes difficult process by kindly talking them through the steps and answering their questions and concerns.
- Coordinate with office staff for timely care of patients.
- Cross-train and help as needed in other departments (i.e. scheduling, medical records, etc).
- Participate in various projects and/or meetings, and complete other tasks as assigned by management.
Job Requirements
We're looking for dependable and professional candidates for medical administrative assistant jobs at Advanced Healthcare Center.
- 2 years of front office experience in the medical field
- Scheduling experience managing multiple providers
- Manage schedules optimizing visits daily
- 2 years Insurance Experience (HMO's and PPO's)
- Must be able to understand and explain copays, co ins and deductibles.
- Applicants must have a High School Diploma, basic computer skills, the ability to multi-task, excellent customer service skills, and great communication skills. Medical terminology and recent medical office and scheduling work experience is highly preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
