Advanced Industries is currently seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a Warehouse/Driver Associate.
In a typical day as a Warehouse/Driver Associate, you will:
- Arrive in the morning and check that the truck has all the correct items for delivery
- Navigate to the delivery locations using GPS and follow a delivery schedule and route.
- Have customers sign appropriate receipts and documents for the delivery of the merchandise.
- Local Will Call pickups for material we have order from our suppliers are another requirement. Check that the material matches what we have on our PO before leaving
- Return to the warehouse to turn in the PODs for that day's deliveries and pickups
- Receive, verify, stage, and stock all incoming material into the warehouse
- Pull and prepare orders for the next days shipments
- Ensure warehouse is clean, organized, secure, and safe at all times
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (no more than 2 incidents in 3 years)
- A background in Warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, delivery, and inventory is preferred
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Working knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
- Product knowledge or the ability to quickly learn it
- Forklift Operator experience
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
