Our business has grown to include not only flooring, but also a full offering of cabinetry and a Stone Division where we fabricate our own Granite and Quartz.
Shift Hours
Can Vary, Generally Monday-Friday, 7am-4pm
Position Summary
We have an opening for a Stone Fabrication Tech to assist in stone fabrication, installation and maintenance. This position is hands-on training to develop skills and experience in multiple areas of the stone industry. Previous experience working with stone is a definite plus however not required.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance on production equipment.
- Polish cut and fabricate stone.
- Install stone countertops
- Assist in CNC setup and cycle changes
- Verify quantities, products and condition of all materials received.
- Place all products received in appropriate locations.
- Process appropriate paperwork regarding all materials.
- Receiving of new inventory via inventory documentation process.
- Assist with periodic physical inventory counting.
- Assist in various areas production facilities as needed.
- Assist Stone Manager as needed.
- Other duties and responsibilities.
Competencies
Knowledge:
- Understanding of Manufacturing facility or constriction industry
- A working knowledge of tools used in trades and or manufacturing
Skills:
- Dynamic problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills and great customer service
- Proficiency in material modification
- Proficiency in setting seams, material lay-out and all technical expertise
- Skills in the repairing/maintaining machining equipment
Abilities:
- Professional demeanor and appearance
- Ability to handle heavy material while practicing safe lifting to prevent injury of oneself or others
- A valid driver’s license with an insurable driving record
Experience
- Experience in skilled trades or manufacturing maintenance is required

Physical Demands
Ability to lift 50 pounds repetitively and be physically capable of performing the essential functions of the position, with or without a reasonable accommodation, and without posing a direct threat to the health and safety of the individual or others.
