**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a skilled IT Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide technical support and assistance to our organization's IT systems and users. This position requires that you go onsite to clients, do physical work such as clean up racks and terminate cables, and troubleshoot equipment. The ideal candidate will be flexible to the needs of the business, answering incoming phone calls, resolving tickets, participate in rotational on-call, and assist with cleaning the office when work is slow.
**Responsibilities:**
- Install, configure, and maintain computer and network hardware and software components
- Troubleshoot system and network problems, with team support
- Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems
- Provide technical support for both computer and network hardware and software issues
- Manage user accounts and permissions
- Monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements
- Set up workstations for new users
- Respond in a timely manner to service issues and requests
- Provide support for VoIP phones and service
**Requirements:**
- Proficiency in Windows operating systems, including Windows Server
- Familiarity with Mac OS
- Basic Knowledge of TCP/IP protocols and LAN/WAN configuration
- Experience with Active Directory and Ubiquiti networking equipment
- Ability to troubleshoot devices on a network
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with users
- Customer service-oriented approach to IT support, patient with clients frustrations
