Position Overview: As a Landscape Designer/Salesman, you'll be responsible for both designing and selling a range of landscaping solutions, including paver patios, concrete structures, full backyard makeovers, sod renovations, and irrigation system installations. This position requires a blend of creativity, technical expertise, and strong sales skills. You’ll work directly with clients to understand their needs, create custom designs (including 3D renderings), and guide them through the sales process. This is a commission-based role, offering earnings tied to your sales success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Meet with clients to assess their outdoor living needs and vision, including paver patios, concrete installations, sod renovations, and irrigation system designs.
• Design custom landscapes, including 3D renderings, using industry-standard software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Lumion, or similar).
• Present design concepts, 3D renderings, and project estimates for paver patios, outdoor kitchens, fire pits, sod renovations, irrigation systems, and other landscape features.
• Offer expert recommendations to clients regarding sod selection, lawn renovations, irrigation systems, and other outdoor solutions.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships, fostering repeat business and referrals for future landscape installations.
• Work closely with the project management team to ensure designs are executed to the highest standards.
• Collaborate with the sales team to identify new business opportunities, generate leads, and close sales.
• Stay updated with the latest trends in landscaping, outdoor living features, sod installation, and irrigation technologies.
• Meet and exceed sales targets, contributing to the overall growth and success of the company.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Landscape Designer, Landscape Architect, or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of landscape design principles, including paver patios, concrete work, sod renovations, and irrigation system installations.
• Experience designing and selling full backyard makeovers and outdoor living spaces.
• Familiarity with irrigation system design and installation (preferred).
• Previous experience in sales or business development in the landscaping industry is a plus.
• Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Lumion, or other landscape design and 3D rendering tools).
• Ability to create realistic 3D renderings and visualizations for outdoor living projects.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly explain designs and proposals to clients.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail, creative problem-solving abilities, and a passion for outdoor design.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
