POSITION SUMMARY
As a massage therapist, you will be required to:
- Keep track of client treatment records and plans and monitor improvement
- Offer general wellness maintenance advice to clients such as stretching and strengthening techniques
- Build positive relationships with clients and team members to create a pleasant work environment
- Meet with each client to discuss any problems with stress or pain, and advise on types of massage and treatment
- Treat clients safely and effectively using the appropriate therapeutic massage techniques that meet their needs
Qualifications
EXPERIENCE:
- At least 2 years of experience is preferred, less will be considered
- Punctual, able to maintain a clean and organized space
- Proficiency in therapeutic massage techniques such as Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, sports massage, and reflexology
- Skilled in spa massage techniques and in working in a spa environment
- Experience creating individualized treatment plans
- Passionate about Massage Therapy and collaborative healthcare
