Advanced MedAesthetic Partners (“AMP”) is the premier platform for aesthetics practice owners looking to grow to the next level. We partner with med spas, plastic surgery practices and dermatology practices, by purchasing equity in your practice, and operate as an aligned business partnership. Practice owners immediately financially benefit from a partnership, while AMP provides funding for expansion and a professional infrastructure that is challenging for one to five location practices to develop on their own.
The Staff Accountant is responsible for recording transactions and preparing the work papers and documents needed to support the presentation of entity and portfolio financial statements. The goal of this position is to ensure that the company’s financial reports are prepared in an accurate and timely manner.
Position Overview:
• Demonstrates highest standards of personal and professional integrity, adheres to company’s policies and procedures, and complies with applicable laws, government rules and regulations.
• Prepares journal entries, analyses, and assists with the monthly close processes.
• Monthly and quarterly balance sheet reconciliations.
• Provides analysis variances, performance data, and documentation as requested by Practice Managers, Regional Managers, and Corporate Management.
• Contributes to the development and review of monthly and annual operating budgets and performance projects.
• Communicates with property management, asset management, and acquisitions to ensure activities are recorded appropriately and timely.
• Assists with administrative functions related to maintenance of accounting records.
• Provides support to auditors as needed by supplying information and documentation.
• Assists in the preparation of year-end financial audit reports
• Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
• Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Requirements
• A Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in Accounting from a four-year college or university.
• This position requires 3 to 5 years of prior professional accounting or financial reporting experience, preferably in multi-unit accounting.
• The following certification is preferred, but not required for this position: Certified Public Accountant (C.P.A.).
Skills:
• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel (including lookups), and Outlook are required for this position.
• Sage Intacct experience a plus.
• Attention to detail, ability to work independently, and demonstrate good follow up skills.
• Consistently meets processing and reporting deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Salary : $90,000 - $100,000
