Crumbl Cookie Baker

We are searching for skilled, creative Bakers who strive to provide excellent baked items and service in an efficient, professional manner. The Baker will execute and understand recipes, perform quality checks on ingredients and finished products, use frostings, glazes, fillings, and other toppings to enhance cookie presentation, and process orders from customers.

To be a successful Baker, an individual should be efficient and friendly with a focus on food quality and customer satisfaction. They should be organized, decisive, attentive, and possess a strong understanding of baking techniques. No experience required—we will train you!

MUST be able to work Mondays and/or Saturdays.

Baker Responsibilities:

• Reading and understand recipes.
• Measuring and combining ingredients and using mixers, blenders, heat sources, and other equipment to make cookies
• Decorating and displaying finished product
• Testing ingredients and finished goods to ensure that each item meets food safety and quality controls
• Greeting customers, answering questions, making recommendations, accepting orders and payment, and providing exceptional customer service
• Keeping records relating to deliveries, inventory, and production levels
• Taking client information and ensuring that deliveries are fulfilled accurately and on time
• Cleaning and restocking workstation and ensuring that all equipment is sanitized and prepared for the next shift
• Be available to assist with special events, catering, or marketing activities

Baker Requirements:

• Must be authorized to work in the USA
• Food Handlers Permit
• Strong communication, time and resource management, and planning skills
• Attention to detail, especially when performing quality inspections on ingredients and products
• Basic math and computer skills
• Willingness to work independently or with other team members to solve problems, plan schedules, fulfill orders, and create amazing baked goods
• Flexibility to work around customer demands, including early morning, night, weekend and holiday availability
• Ability to work in a warm, face-paced environment.
• Stand, walk, bend, use hands, and appliances, and lift heavy items for extended periods.
• Ability to demonstrate integrity and honesty in all dealings
• Focus on customer and employee safety
• Must work well with others, and have a professional demeanor
• Must be punctual and a track record of solid attendance
• Must be able to work Fridays and Saturdays until closing time which is 12:00 AM, but can run as late as 1:00 AM on weekends (closing shifts). The store closes at 10 PM Mon-Thurs.

Duties

• Prepare and bake a wide range of baked goods, including cakes, cookies, bread, and pastries.
• Decorate cakes and other desserts with artistic flair.
• Follow recipes accurately to maintain consistency in product quality.
• Manage food production processes to ensure timely delivery of baked goods.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the baking area in compliance with food safety regulations.
• Assist with catering orders as needed, ensuring that all items are prepared to specification.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food preparation and service.

Skills

• Proficient in cake decorating techniques and creative presentation skills.
• Strong knife skills for precise cutting and preparation of ingredients.
• Knowledge of food handling practices to ensure safety and hygiene in the kitchen.
• Experience in catering services is a plus.
• Ability to bake various types of goods from scratch while adhering to recipes.
• Familiarity with culinary techniques related to baking and pastry arts.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment.
• Strong communication skills for effective teamwork within the kitchen.
