Our full-time Licensed Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant positions have a guaranteed salary
You may work full-time at either 32 hours / week or 40 hours / week, both are benefits eligible
Your non-exempt salary is determined by whether you work a .8 or a 1.0 position
Our COTAs see 5-7 patients a day, spending between 30-45 minutes with each patient to help them achieve their best quality of life.
Primary Responsibilities :
Assist the Occupational Therapist in providing services to patients in their homes to help them achieve their best quality of life. Work with patients to develop and increase fine motor skills, adapt to changed physical and mental abilities to improve activities of daily living.
Specific Job Duties include but not limited to :
Implement treatment plans
Perform delegated treatments from OTR
Follow treatment protocols
Educate patients, family and caregivers
Attends on-the-job and in-service training.
Attends clinical and all other meetings accordingly.
All other duties and tasks as assigned.

Experience :
Degree from Occupational Therapy Assistant program accredited by American Occupational Therapy Association
Valid Minnesota Occupational Therapy Assistant license
Valid CPR / BLS certification for Health Care Providers
Demonstrated ability to multi-task.
Ability to work and communicate professionally with patients, medical partners, employees, and supervisors.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Required :
Good judgment and decision-making skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Technologically proficient and driven by accuracy.
Dependable transportation for patient visits.

Regular attendance and flexibility with scheduling necessary.
Working Conditions :
Ability to sit, stand, type, see, hear, communicate verbally and in writing.
Ability to drive a vehicle and have valid MN Driver's License
Ability to complete job tasks within 32-40 hours per week as stated in offer.
Contact with patients under wide variety of circumstances.
May be exposed to patient elements, unpleasant elements (accidents, injuries / illness, pets, insects, communicable diseases) and may be subject to varying and unpredictable situations.
Handles emergency or crisis situations.
