Full time Radiology / Imaging Services Coordinator

Work in the exciting field of Radiology! Advanced Medical Imaging Consultants is looking for a full time Radiologist Coordinator. A Radiologist Coordinator assists our Radiologist with their daily work flow, patient care, and quality control.

AMIC is seeking a highly motivated full-time candidate to work closely with our large group of subspecialty-trained radiologists and provide exceptional patient care, service to clients, and support to our providers.

Work only 4 days a week! 10 hour shifts working Sunday - Wednesday.

Position Summary

· Work closely with radiologists to facilitate workflow and daily needs in addition to supporting their interactions with customers

· Coordinate all radiology image and report management functions including but not limited to digital data (RIS/PACS) in a dynamic fast paced multi-hospital environment

· Serve as professional liaison to radiologists and their clients

· Contact referring providers and connect them to radiologists as needed

· Serve as telephone triage & liaison for inbound/outbound calls and transfer to appropriate service/individuals

· Perform quality control of exams ensuring they are ready for radiologist interpretation

· Monitor worklists and filters to ensure appropriateness and timeliness of reads

· Facilitate addendums to reports and ensure reports are corrected

· Maintain a continual high level of customer service both internally and externally

· Perform other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

· Healthcare and customer service experience preferred

· Excellent oral and written communication skills; advanced problem-solving skills

· Professional phone skills and experience

· General computer skills and knowledgeable in basic computer terminology

· Medical terminology preferred

· Ability to multitask and troubleshoot

· Ability to work both independently and in a team environment

· Ability to sit 6-8 hours per day entering data on PC

Not a remote position. In office presence required

Base pay starts at $17/hour. We offer a $2 shift differential for any shift that starts after 3pm Monday-Friday, any weekend, and any overnight hours!
