JOB SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Director of Operations,
- Responsible for maintaining the highest level of ambulance readiness.
- Responsible for the oversight of all Vehicle Service Technician (VST) staff, services, supplies, and processes. Fills in VST coverage when team members are absent.
- The Support Services Manager trains all team members to clean, prepare and inspect ambulances and equipment for daily deployment.
- Daily oversight of CWTC and EPIC employees.
- Responsible for planning the ambulance cleaning and detailing schedule to meet the ambulance deployment plan.
- Coordinates programs with Vice-President of Fleet and Safety.

PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Bachelors degree, preferred, or relevant work experience.
- Valid Illinois drivers license.
- Travel to all AMT locations is required.
- Skilled in trouble-shooting issues.
- Must possess knowledge of computer skills with Microsoft Word, Excel and SQL.
TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting heavy objects, manual and finger dexterity, and eye-hand coordination. Requires prolonged standing and walking for extended periods of time. Requires frequent bending, stooping, or stretching. Requires working with equipment requiring voice, sight, and auditory capabilities (corrected) within normal range. Requires the ability to distinguish letters or symbols. Requires the absence of color blindness.
TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS: Work is performed in an automotive shop environment. Frequent exposure to toxic substances, solvents, and petroleum products. Exposure to other conditions common to an automotive shop environment.
