Advanced Medical Transport (AMT) is the premier provider of emergency and scheduled ambulance services in Central and Western Illinois, as well as parts of Iowa. AMT is a private, not-for-profit organization operated for community benefit.
Our Vehicle Service Technicians, or VSTs, provide direct support to field providers by ensuring our fleet is clean and ready for service. As a VST, you will partner with EMT and Paramedic crews to fully equip their ambulance with all required single-use items, maintain good working order of permanent equipment, and ensure a clean, sanitary environment for our patients.
This role is based in Peoria and will serve on a night shift schedule, 8:00 pm to 8:00 am.
Job Duties:
- Wash, clean, and decontaminate ambulances
- Stock ambulances with necessary medical supplies and equipment
- Ensure all medical equipment is in working order
- Record medical equipment locations on forms to ensure accurate and up-to-date records.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and organized supply room and garage floor
