Job Description: We are looking for a detail-oriented and professional Office Assistant to support our operations. The ideal candidate will be proficient in order processing, purchasing, customer service, and other administrative tasks typical of a precision manufacturing environment. This role requires strong math skills, excellent interpersonal abilities, and proficiency with computers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and manage customer orders efficiently and accurately.
- Handle purchasing of materials and supplies, ensuring timely delivery and optimal inventory levels.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining strong relationships with clients.
- Assist in coordinating and scheduling production activities to meet customer demands.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to orders, purchases, and inventory.
- Support general office duties, including answering phones, filing, and managing correspondence.
- Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance overall efficiency.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in office administration or related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in an office assistant or similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or job shop environment.
- Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other relevant software.
