Picker

Overview

Sorting brass, copper, aluminum, stainless steel, and other metalics.

Duties

• Accurately pick orders for shipment according to customer specifications.
• Utilize warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to move products safely.
• Ensure that items are properly labeled and packaged for delivery.
• Conduct regular inventory checks to maintain accurate stock levels.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily order fulfillment goals.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
• Report any discrepancies or issues with inventory or orders to management.

Skills

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order picking.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely (experience with forklifts is a plus).
• Good physical stamina; ability to lift heavy items and stand for extended periods.
• Basic math skills for inventory management and order verification.
• Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems is advantageous.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.50 per hour

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 12 hour shift
• 8 hour shift

Supplemental Pay:

• Bonus opportunities
