THE ROLE:

You will be responsible for developing and coordinating AI-focused thought leadership content that resonates with key audiences. This role involves translating the corporate narrative into compelling messaging for various platforms, including blogs, speeches, reports, and both long and short-form content. You will also copy edit and proofread documentation to ensure accuracy and consistency. Additionally, you will help produce campaign debriefs, compile regular reports, and calculate ROI to measure the effectiveness of marketing activities. A proactive and positive approach along with close stakeholder collaboration will be essential as you seek continuous improvements in all aspects of AMD's AI marketing activities.

THE PERSON:

You are a detailed-oriented marketing specialist with an ability to convey AI concepts through engaging and accessible content. Your aptitude in writing and editing allows you to craft clear and influential thought leadership materials. You thrive in a dynamic environment where you can apply your skills in content creation, copy editing, and performance analysis to drive AMD’s thought leadership in AI forward. Your proactive approach to marketing ensures that all content is strategic, impactful, and aligned with AMD's goals.

• Content Creator: Proficient in developing thought leadership materials that elevate AMD's presence in the AI space and engage key audiences.
• Precision Editor: Meticulous attention to detail in copy editing and proofreading, ensuring all content meets high standards of clarity and accuracy.
• Strategic Communicator: Skilled at translating complex narratives into compelling marketing messages across various formats.
• Analytical Marketer: Adept at producing detailed reports and ROI calculations, providing insights to refine and enhance marketing strategies.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and coordinate AI-focused thought leadership content that aligns with AMD’s strategic goals.
• Translate AMD’s corporate narrative into engaging messaging for blogs, speeches, and reports, both long and short form.
• Copy edit and proofread all related documentation to maintain consistency and accuracy across all marketing materials.
• Produce campaign debriefs and compile regular reports to track performance and calculate ROI, informing future marketing strategies.
• Proactively seek ways to improve all facets of AMD's AI marketing activities, ensuring continuous enhancement in content quality and impact.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• Proven experience in content marketing and thought leadership within a tech-focused environment.
• Strong background in writing, editing, and content production, particularly related to AI and technology.
• Experience in analyzing marketing data and calculating ROI to assess campaign effectiveness.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining focus on key objectives.

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
• Advanced degree or professional certification in a related area is preferred.

At AMD, your base pay is one part of your total rewards package.  Your base pay will depend on where your skills, qualifications, experience, and location fit into the hiring range for the position. You may be eligible for incentives based upon your role such as either an annual bonus or sales incentive.
