THE ROLE: 

You will be responsible for supporting the development and management of internal employee engagement initiatives, contributing to the creation of a vibrant culture of continuous learning and connectivity within our engineering community. Your contributions will involve enhancing existing programs, such as seminars, networking events, and recognition programs, while also designing new inclusive engagement opportunities. Additionally, you will play a key role in expanding programs that support our employees' professional growth and well-being. This is a new role within the HR Organization, offering a unique opportunity to contribute to the direction and impact of the team in a collaborative and innovative environment.

  • Adaptable and Purposeful: Quickly adapt to changes in organizational needs and continuously deliver impactful results within dynamic environments. Comfortable leveraging technical tools and methodologies to enhance project outcomes. 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Communicate effectively and often, both in written and verbal forms, to convey clear and concise information to internal stakeholders. Present project updates, status reports, and key insights ensuring alignment and transparency from project initiation to completion. 
  • Lead the conceptualization, planning, and implementation of program initiatives to achieve exceptional outcomes, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and stakeholder expectations. 
  • Provide robust program management oversight to cross-functional teams, fostering positive relationships among team members and stakeholders to facilitate collaboration and ensure successful execution. 
  • Drive the delivery of results effectively, continuously improving processes and outcomes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Proactively identify and address any obstacles or challenges that may arise during project execution. 
  • Position requires up to 20% travel, encompassing both international and domestic locations.

 

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: 

  • Demonstrated record in successfully driving and managing programs and initiatives, with a strong focus on enhancing employee engagement and experience. 
  • Exceptional ability to analyze complex data, synthesize insights, and develop polished presentations that inform and persuade executive teams. 
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly grasp new concepts and adapt strategies to meet evolving organizational needs. 
  • Known for meticulous execution and the ability to manage multiple project aspects simultaneously, ensuring comprehensive oversight and quality outcomes. 
  • Experience working in dynamic and competitive environments, preferably within an engineering or technology-focused organization. 

 

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related discipline. 
  • Program Management certification is a plus.

At AMD, your base pay is one part of your total rewards package.  Your base pay will depend on where your skills, qualifications, experience, and location fit into the hiring range for the position. You may be eligible for incentives based upon your role such as either an annual bonus or sales incentive.
