The Role 

Come join our team working on SHARK support, in conjunction with the open-source SHARK-Turbine, IREE and torch-mlir projects. In collaboration with our team working on ML Compilers, you will be responsible for directly integrating features to serve the needs of SHARK users, and you will be working with the latest state of the art ML models and workloads. 

The Person 

The ideal candidate is an ML generalist, capable of going deep into PyTorch technologies like Dynamo while also understanding ML workloads and how to interface those with compiler technology based on MLIR.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Exercise software engineering excellence in the SHARK and SHARK-Turbine projects.
• Bring user-oriented Python development skills to bear while building APIs.
• Drive systematic testing and continuous integration activities in partnership with the rest of the team.
• Develop subject matter expertise on ML workload tracing and implementation strategies in the context of the SHARK software stack.
• Deliver both eager-mode and ahead-of-time compiled solutions for cutting edge models, workloads and distribution topologies.

Preferred Experience in following tools/flows 

• Comfortable with exercising an attention to detail while implementing compiler transformations for supported operations.
• Experience publishing Python-based, end-user APIs and packages in a pure OSS setting.
• Experience debugging cross-stack issues and reducing user problems to actionable execution.

Academic Credentials 

• BS/MS (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related equivalent)
