JOB DETAILS:

• Location: San Jose, CA
• Onsite/Hybrid: This role requires the student to work full time (40 hours a week), in a hybrid work structure throughout the duration of the co-op/intern term. 
• Duration: May 27, 2025 to August 8, 2025 OR June 23, 2025 to September 12, 2025

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

• Partner with the documentation manager to refine and implement an organized and user-friendly structure for our documentation repository.
• Actively contribute to the curation and transition of content for our web presence, including crafting engaging blog posts and interactive multimedia content.
• Collaborate with SMEs to identify documentation requirements and create user-friendly, informative materials.
• Reformat and update existing documents from PDF to markdown format, ensuring a consistent style and enhanced readability.
• Participate in team discussions, providing valuable input and suggestions to improve our documentation approach and user experience.
• Recommend enhancements to our documentation repository organization for easy navigation and a seamless user journey.
• Implement innovative content ideas, such as interactive webpages and informative videos, to simplify technical documentation and captivate our audience.
• Participate in creative brainstorming sessions, contributing fresh and impactful ideas for content presentation and user engagement.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:  

• You are currently enrolled in a US based University in a bachelor’s program in technical writing, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
• If you have knowledge/experience with any of the following technical skills (or related areas) and are enthusiastic about this role, we strongly encourage you to 
  apply –  
• Demonstrated experience or coursework in content creation, including writing, web design, video production, or other multimedia projects.

• • Familiarity with Markdown and content management systems, particularly within a git repository environment.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to producing high-quality documentation.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members, SMEs, and other stakeholders.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a willingness to take initiative and propose innovative solutions.
  • Basic understanding of web development principles is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and projects concurrently.
  • Eagerness to learn, iterate, and improve our documentation and processes.
  • A portfolio or samples of previous work demonstrating your writing and creative abilities.
