THE ROLE:
World Wide Marketing at AMD is looking to hire a standout senior project manager to join the Marketing Operations PMO. This function stretches across all the business units as well as multiple functions at AMD. You will manage fast-paced social and creative projects as a Senior Project Manager for the PMO. You will be surrounded by a team that will help build, support and provide multiple development opportunities for you. You’re marketing savvy, a great communicator, and can guide progress with a calm and firm hand.

To be successful in this role, you are a comfortable with ambiguity and change, dealing with difficult deadlines, great at communicating, innovate on the fly, build relationships and trust, be highly aligned with your internal stakeholders all while driving the PMO’s objectives and being the best steward of our marketing goals.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your success is critical to WWM’s ability to perform.
- Be part of a small team of PMs working with first-class leadership
- Serve as primary point-of-contact on projects including social media campaigns, digital marketing collateral, full-scale creative campaigns
- Define workflows and milestones from creative concept through asset and campaign launch
- Lead project kick-off meeting with internal team, creative designers, internal stakeholders and agencies
- Communicate expectations and action items throughout the project life cycle
- Think strategically about communication to negotiate project deliverables, manage expectations, educate stakeholders and resolve issues
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Extensive experience in social media and creative marketing disciplines with a focus on project planning, timelines, and tracking deliverables
- Knowledge of Project Management software, especially Workfront
- Prior experience managing cross functional and global teams
- Prior experience with Agile project management methodologies
- Ability to drive consensus and change
- Agile/Scrum certification preferred
ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Progressive marketing experience with increasing levels of responsibility
