Job Role and Responsibility: Xilinx, Inc., a subsidiary of AMD, Inc., is hiring Sr. Manager Software Development to Lead a team to integrate Falcon technology into HLS. Discuss with stakeholders on plan of integration. Establish and track the integration roadmap. Manage project risks. Implement Falcon technology in low-level virtual machine (LLVM) according to the original version in ROSE compiler framework and related specifications. Cooperate with other HLS teams on behalf of front-end team. Understand requirements from other teams and determine the final specification. Direct specific support from other teams to help the front-end team. Negotiate with other teams to resolve unclear requirements, responsibilities, or specifications. Manage and improve productivity of front-end team. Provide support to team members and essential training for new employees. Lead discussions in engineering issues raised by team members. Guide and help career planning and improvement of each team member. Provide expert knowledge and experiences with team members. Improve HLS usability by enhancing automation. Refine the current automation features to adapt to different kinds of application scenarios. Manage the reduction in pragma usage by using aggressive analysis. Oversee the design of new automation features to improve users’ productivity. Direct the integration of auto design space exploration into HLS. Maintain and enhance HLS front-end to improve stability and function. Manage the tracing and maintenance of the existing features and provide quick feedback for usability or function issues. Optimize the running time of each feature. Direct the enhancement of front-end part with backend enhancement and support requirement from other parts of
HLS.

Qualifications: Degree required
Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems, or related field.
Qualifications: Amount and type of experience required: five (5) years of experience in the job offered or closely related engineering role.
Alternate combination of education and experience: Employer will accept alternate combination of education and experience: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems, or related field and seven (7) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or closely related engineering role.
Specific skills required: The following skills are required:
Position requires five (5) years of experience in the following:
1.Software verification;
2.Product development cycles;
3.Front-End EDA tools;
4.Unix or Linux environments;
5.C, C , Python, TCL, Perl, or Shell;
6.Object oriented design, memory management, or multi-threading;
7.Code optimization using the GPU or software performance analysis;
8.Software debugging using MacOS, Linux, or Unix; and
9.Git.
