THE ROLE
AMD Instinct™ GPUs accelerate the journey to AI innovation and HPC discovery at scale. The Sr. Partner Marketing Manager role will develop and execute high-impact AI server marketing strategies to help grow the AMD Instinct GPU business with key original equipment manufacturers (OEM) and original design manufacturers (ODM). This role is paired with business development and works with server alliance partners for marketing strategic planning, program management and execution with joint marketing development funds (MDF) to maximize business impact.
THE PERSON
The ideal candidate is skilled in strategic marketing planning, execution and operations, with an in-depth understanding of B2B enterprise product and partner marketing. Bringing strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset, the role requires someone who can see paths to business growth and manage MDF projects to deliver business results.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Partner with OEM and ODM partners on executing global and regional co-marketing campaigns and activations, as well as driving product launch milestones
- Align AMD planning cycles with partner timelines and drive AMD Instinct GPU brand and value proposition within partner-led co-marketing activities.
- Collaborate with Global Account Management teams and regional teams to drive co-marketing programs designed to drive demand and sales velocity through multiple channels
- Be the primary interface for the AMD Instinct team representing these partners within AMD internal marketing meetings to help drive the partner needs internally and be the primary marketing interface directly with the partners representing AMD Instinct GPUs
- Advocate for partner representation in AMD’s marketing efforts (product launches, website, etc.) and lead AMD execution of partner launch activities of key platforms
- Become knowledgeable about the dynamics of partner organizations to understand their goals, pain points and opportunities to better enhance AMD’s marketing effectiveness & integration within partner marketing programs
- Ensure timely and relevant communications about AMD Instinct products and other updates to the partner marketing, alliances and product contacts.
- Work across teams to measure effectiveness of programs and be able to apply learnings for future program
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
- Self-motivated and prepared to jump in and lead
- A proven track record of keeping projects on schedule and within budget
- Strong background in marketing fundamentals including budget and contract management experience
- A strong and in-depth understanding of OEM marketing and sales structure and their ways of operations
- Ability to meet challenging timelines
- Continuous improvement mindset
- Thorough understanding of current OEM/ODM marketing strategies, digital platforms and trends
- Experience utilizing market research and market data to develop marketing strategies and programs

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred.
