Job Role and Responsibility: AMD, Inc. is hiring a Sr. Silicon Design Engineer to research, design, develop, and/or test electronic components and systems for semiconductor and related device development. Contribute to the development of multidimensional designs involving complex integrated circuits. Analyze complex technical data and suggest engineering solutions for issues in development of AMD’s processors and related products. Research and develop techniques, models, and tools to improve processor functionality and performance, power, efficiency, and/or reliability. Use required technologies and collaborate with other engineers/designers to identify and debug root causes of issues related to functionality and performance. Take ownership of definable portions of technical projects related to enhancing existing AMD technology and new product initiatives. Communicate the status of technical projects to senior members of the team and key internal stakeholders.

Qualifications: Degree required
Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
Qualifications: Amount and type of experience required:
24 months of experience in job offered or closely related engineering role.
Specific skills required: The following skills are required:
Must have one year of experience in the following:
- Hardware verification;
- System Verilog;
- Graphics IP architecture verification;
- Verilog, SV,or UVM; and
- Python
