Job Role and Responsibility: AMD, Inc. is hiring Staff Business Systems Analysts to Manage AMD's corporate data warehouse solutions by providing critical information for management reporting, financial reporting, and machine learning models. Follow the Project life cycle methodologies to gather business requirements, document technical design specifications and ensure the design meets the business needs. Design data models, working with business stakeholders to understand requirements and structuring the models for easy access by business users. Build and maintain data pipelines using Informatica, populating primarily Snowflake, Microsoft SQL Server, or SAP HANA databases. Enable monitoring and alerting for critical data pipelines and resolve issues with pipelines as they are encountered. Assist users in accessing data and in using existing analytical tools to complete their analysis. Perform unit testing, co-ordinate user testing and deliver solutions following the IT release process. Create Training documents for knowledge sharing with team members and Business users. Troubleshoot and implement permanent corrective actions for system performance issues, data issues and system outages within the Data Warehouse. Drive to tight deadlines as a part of a global, horizontal team.

Qualifications: Degree required
Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Analytics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Qualifications: Amount and type of experience required: Three (3) years of experience in job offered or related engineering, data engineering/architect, or consultant role.
Alternate combination of education and experience: Employer will accept alternate combination of education and experience: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Analytics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field and five (5) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or related engineering, data engineering/architect, or consultant role.
Specific skills required: The following skills are required:
Position requires three (3) years of experience in the following technologies and/or skills:
1.Enterprise Data Warehouses with ETL and OLAP tools;
2.Unix or Linux environments;
3.Python or Unix Shell scripting;
4.SQL, MS SQL server, or Oracle; and
5.Informatica

At AMD, your base pay is one part of your total rewards package. Your base pay will depend on where your skills, qualifications, experience, and location fit into the hiring range for the position. Salary : $118,080 - $177,120
