Position /Job Functions:
Come and join our fast-moving, world-class organization in Camarillo, CA. We are one of the world’s largest private manufacturers of servo drives used in automation across a wide variety of industries and applications around the world and in space.
We are looking for a motivated Product & Support Engineer (Applications Engineer) to become an integral part of our team. Will work with customers, sales, design, and production to integrate our servo drives into next generation robotics and automation. In addition to applications engineering, you will be part of the Product Management team to help with the specification and development of new products.
Responsibilities:
- Provide outstanding technical support and training to our customers and sales partners via phone, email, web-based meeting, and in person.
- Communicate specifications, requirements and problems to internal teams.
- Hands-on testing, measuring and reporting of findings, working AMC amplifiers, third party devices, and customer equipment.
- Represent AMC’s talented team at trade shows and marketing events.
- Some travel including international required, up to 15%.
- Additional job duties as required.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Prior related work experience preferred.
- Prior experience with motion control or mechatronics desired.
- C/C programming experience.
- Will occasionally/frequently: stand, walk, sit, use both hands, and carry/lift/push/pull to 25 lbs.
- We are ITAR Registered. Hired candidate must be a US Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident.
- This is a full-time position located at our Camarillo, CA facility, Monday through Friday, 8a to 5p (additional hours as required).
Education Requirements:
- Minimum education: BSEE, BSME, BSCE, or related degree required.
Pay Range: $75,000 to $90,000 annual salary.
